Age range?

What age range would you say this movie is? Would you say 14, 15, 16, 17? I need someone who has seen it to tell me! Thanks!

I've seen it and I love it (I'm 16) I pursue the same dream, well maybe not a rock star, but make music and have people reconizing you (I mean musically here, not in the streets). The movie is awsome and I want to see others like that. And Lori Petty had a 7 year bitch t-shirt, how cool is that? Too much.

You must be pretty concieted if you think that teens can't appreciate a given movie just because the main character is 40. Hell, if that were the case, I wouldn't be capable of appreciating 90% of the movies I hold in high esteem. So are you saying that teens should not bother watching any movie in which the characters are all older adults? I'd say that Prey for Rock & Roll is something most adults wouldn't appreciate. I know my parents didn't. I think that the people who would appreciate this move the most are musicians or lovers of music (especially punk rock music). I also think that most musicians and lovers of music (especially punk rock music) are younger, and most of the fans are teens. In addition, if you think that teens can't appreciate something that has to do with violence and abuse, you've got another thing coming to you. Teens and children are usually the victims of domestic abuse, and teens know just as much about it (if not more) than do adults. Teens are also exposed to more violence in the real world than are adults. Think about what you are saying before you post. Bitch.

I'm all about feeling strong about opinions, but calling somebody names on a message board is Wussy City. If you're trying to convince someone of your point of view, then name-calling is gratuitous and dilutes your argument. It makes you sound callow, which is what you're trying to deny about teens in the first place. Think about what you are saying before you post...m'am.

By the way - I've seen several episodes of "Rocked" on IFC and regardless of the merits of the movie, Gina Gershon is the real thing on stage during live performances and she's fun to watch. Move over, Mick.

I am 41 and I loved it. My daughter is 17 and she loved it too. Anyone who is intelligent will appreciate the movie.

I am 23, and I love this movie. All the charecters are different ages, so everyone can appreciate it. But, even so... age doesn't matter. I thought this movie was 10 times better than most movies that feature people my own age.
