The Attorney Was the Story

The corruption and all the other trapping made for an unbelievably intriguing story, but for me the most fascinating character in all of this was the attorney and his attention to detail that ranged from strategy to wardrobe and jury selection. Wow. The director did such an artistic and tasteful job of exposing the attorney's habits, behaviors and thoughts. He's a man you wish you could meet. I enjoyed the extra's as much, if not more, than the main film.

I agree, the guy was incredible. Not the kind of guy you'd expect to be a public defender.

Definitely. I have a lot of respect for that man. He held true to his own values and really humiliated those detectives in court (as they should have been). I also, for some reason, found myself oddly attracted to him. Haha.

I hope to God that you are a female.

Absolutely. He was an exceptional attorney and the courtroom footage was as good as anything turned out by Hollywood.
