Locations for Michel Vaillant???

I was disappointed by this movie, thought it deserved a better story, actors etc.. and frankly, I wasn't at all impressed by the visuals, nor the sound (I have a good sound system, but it didn't have "balls". 1966 "Grand Prix" (Frankenheimer) is more impressive than this film. Especially the editing doesn't keep up the pace sufficiently to get that horizontal vertigo feeling and the butterfly in the stomach that goes with good motor racing.

But my question: who knows where the film was shot? Especially the test-circuit and the mountain scenes (the best of the film) ... anyone?

they shot at LeMans and somewhere in Cadada for sure. Maybe you can found more details on the web site: www.michelvaillant-lefim.fr

This Movie was shot in Quebec, Canada for the mountain scenes and everything else was in France

The test track was a military track in France from what i remember. For the mountain scenes which ones do you mean? The rally in Italy or snow rally in Canada?

I havent seen the film, but as far as i know the race scenes were filmed during le mans (2001). I watch Le Mans every year and remember when they shot it, 2 cars from the film were in the real race.
