Not bad, but...

...this is one of those low-budget flicks that impels me to abandon my conventional day (well, night) job and try donning the mantle of an independent film-maker with the conviction that I could almost-certainly do better. I never saw a scene in TLSoC that couldn't be improved with better lighting, aged film effects and toned-down dialogue, just to name a few things off of the top of my head. It takes real talent and polish to do a convincing amateur job, TLSoC just isn't there.

I felt the same way. I understand what they were trying to achieve but I don't think it was pushed enough. I'm not sure why the filmmakers would want to make a movie like this if they didn't think they could improve on the bad effects, the accidental humor or the stilted acting. It could have been even more wacky and tacky to separate it from the average B-movies of the 50's and 60's.

You could take a crap in a 5 gallon bucket and it would be better.

There is nothing not perfect about this film.
