Record for most slaps to the head?

If it's one thing about Korean movies, it's that when they hit each other, they REALLY hit each other.....hard(Memories of Murder comes to mind). But, this movie takes the whole bakery. I've never seen so many hard hits and slaps in a film before. Shin-il Kang ho plays Chief Investigator Eom is one of the funniest characters in a long time, his short temper had me laughing the whole way through. I highly recommend this film for Korean comedy purposes. Hilarious.

This movie doesn't hold a candle to ONCE UPON A TIME IN HIGH SCHOOL for head slapping. In fact, dozens of Korean movies feature this kind of physical contact, which is more than enough evidence to suggest that the culture is actually familiar with the practice and that it occurs there, and occured there in the past, probably more than anywhere else on earth. It's really just one form of the domination games that can exist in any vertically integrated culture, and a strong sign that those cultures tend to hold on to antiquated forms of hierarchy long past the sell-by date. Koreans themselves probably indulge the practise less and less with each passing year, and as more and more of them realize the hollowness and superficiality of the system in which their parents were raised. But it still looks cool on film.
