Who told Ethan about lizzie?

I was watching this movie the other day and when Lizzie's family and Ms. Ungermier come to ask Ethan where Lizzie is he responds with something like "Well she could be at the music awards impersonating the italian superstar isabella who's like totally her twin." How did he know that? Who told him? The only people who knew were Gordo and Kate and i'm pretty sure neither of them told.

Well, he was in the bathroom listening when Gordo and Lizzie were talking about Paolo. That's when Ethan was telling Gordo that it's obvious that he likes Lizzie as more than a friend. But I don't know how he found out the rest. Probably Gordo, honestly. I think they became closer during their stay there.

I giggle when I get attacked for my opinion, because it just doesn't make sense
