Lizzie McGuire fans

If she kept acting, then she'd have a new generation of fans along with her original fans.

Honestly I thought Hilary did her best acting on Lizzie McGuire. And I don't mean that as backhanded, I just mean she was very sweet and genuine. Several years later, and I still enjoy the show.

Unfortunately I think Hilary was typecast. Cinderella Story for example felt very reminiscent of Lizzie McGuire. And then I think she tried to overcompensate by changing her imagine altogether. Her career isn't over though. She was on Gossip Girl for a while and has another show in the works. I wouldn't say she's necessarily the box office gold Disney made her out to be post-Lizzie, but she's definitely found solid work. And she seems okay with her Lizzie imagine now because somebody asked her if she'd return for a reunion special, and she said she totally would.
