how come jet li is fightin all the movie with one hand in the pocket???

how come jet li is fightin all the movie with one hand in the pocket??? the karate or kung fu moves are exagerated... and the scene whene dmx is runnin on the wall... come on... it's too much..

reply

this movie sucks,,,

reply

the dumbest movie i've ever seen. i hated this dmx guy, he's like a robot.
one of Jet's worst. Mark Dacascos is great as usual, but only for about a minute.

reply

because his left hand is lethal and he doesn't want to kill anyone of the lesser baddies, he doesn't use it until the final fight

reply

^^couldnt have said it better

who ever he fights with his hand in his pocket is considered not a challenge to him and also because the left hand is lethal and is more or less sparing there life...he doesnt takeit out till the ufc when he considers fightin 20 ufc fighters a challenge.

Give it a 10

i dont mean to point out the obvious... but come on its jet li he dont need the other hand. its like fightin with one hand behind ur back. only cooler its in ur pocket.

OMG! don't you all get it?? Jet li has itchy balls! DUHHH! I used to scratch my balls back in high school by putting my right hand in my pockets during classes sometimes. Its a great technique, its called the jet li's secret shaolin ball scratcher, it's being used by alot of young and old adults :).

Thought the kung fu moves were cool and nearly believeable but its a movie, enjoy it.

What I couldn't get over was....DMX runnin like Neo on the damn wall...come on, is this the next "The One" or something? That spoiled it a bit for me there...

reply

dang, chill out with that run up the wall, your saying that if u had the opportunity to do that in a movie that u wouldnt?

reply

^^This. I mean, come on, NO ONE said sh!t when Michael Jai White did the backflip and blocked Steven Seagal's sword in Exit Wounds, no one said anything when Jet Li was helping Aaliyah beat up the girl in Romeo Must Die, so what's the difference, it's just all in fun. If someone asked anyone here to do that in a movie, I'm pretty sure ANYONE would want to do that move. Hell, The Matrix made it extremely memorable!

As for Jet fighting with one hand, it's already been said. Those are people that he doesn't think are much of a challenge. It did the same in many of his films, especially in Lethal Weapon 4 & Romeo Must Die.

I think you and the others above are right. But it is weird. Throughout much of the movie he clearly has a hand in his pocket, even at the end when they are all walking back across the tarmac. 🐭
