Does anyone know of a DVD release of the US version? I adore the dub, as many Americans of my age who saw it probably do, but the VHS copy I have has been transferred from tape to tape through the years as each wore down and I'm tired of it. Was it ever released by anyone in DVD format?
I wish I had tech friends who could digitize it into divx or something. I really don't want to lose this gem of a movie.
I can hook you up with a DVD transfer from VHS. It is not from the best source copy but this film is getting really hard to come by in any format. :(

That would be awesome, really. I don't own a DVD recorder and can't really justify the price of buying one only to copy this one movie. I don't want my VHS copy to wear out :(
