Ranking the Seasons

I would have trouble ranking them other than putting Season 5 last. Not long ago I re-watched the series and previously I wasn't too impressed by Season 4 and after re-watching the series it struck me exactly how good Season 4 was.

I would probably still go with 1, 4, 2, 3 and 5.

I can also express I KNEW this show was going to be special after watching the very first segment where McNulty is talking to the young man on the porch stoop over why the other boy was shot and killed. When I saw that scene I went, "Wow. This is going to be special."

And what a collection of black actors and many of them unknown at the time.
