What was the most amusing scene, and most disturbing scene

Most amusing; when Mayor Carcetti makes a surprise visit to parks/recreation, parking and water/power.
Brilliant maneuver

Most disturbing; I haven't finished the series yet. Only at season 4 ep 11, but thus far, when the kid has his own father beat to death...and anything involving Felicia..just knowing she's a convicted murderer...I wonder if any of her coworkers got the creeps working with her. I'll bet the props dept worked overtime making sure any gun in her hand was a fake..right up to the moment she pulled the trigger. How many times did the supporting actors flinch when she shot at them

I don't think that was Michael's father but rather the father of Michael's brother only.

Interesting info about Felicia. I did hear that after the show, she was arrested for trafficking in heroin but did not know anything about being a convicted murderer.

It was funny as hell when Jimmy got the floater girl dumped on Rawls and the BPD. Then Jimmy at the bar laughing his guts out over it.

Most disturbing might be that can full of dead girls or seeing the depth and despair of Hamsterdam running full tilt.

I was laughing when Omar testified against Bird and took on the lawyer. LOL. That was hilarious. But hell I loved Omar He rocked. It was also funny when D' went to fishsit for Bey. LOL.

Disturbing Dukie shooting up. I hated that so much. I was so angry seeing that. Hell Season 4 just made me cry.

((Damn the remakes, Save the originals.))

There were LOTS of sad moments in this show but seeing Dukie turn into an addict broke my heart the most.

Most amusing: When Bubs finally gets pissed at Herc and sends him after an innocent minister.

Most disturbing: was Bodie's murder, mainly because I had such high hopes for the character and I thought his comment about the pawns in s1 was foreshadowing his future success.

You really didn't get much out of the show did you?

Most amusing scene:
Squeak "You got to be the stupidest motherf#@#er I have ever gone out with"
Bernard "I can't wait to go to jail"

Most disturbing:
Wallace's death scene. By far.

Most Amusing Scene: The episode TOOK by Dominic West was pretty amusing. The final moment where Kima Greggs wishes Good Night to the whole of Baltimore (personally felt it would have made a cool ending scene for the whole series)

Most Disturbing Moment: OMAR's Death! So sudden and got me reeeling down!

reply

Amusing was the intro of an episode, where Herc and Carver were trying to move a desk, which they could not figure out why it couldn't fit in a doorway. Only to figure out one was fitting the desk INTO the doorway, the other was pulling it OUT of the doorway.

Disturbing was Chris's maniacal beating of Michael's step-dad. Even psychopathic Snoop was stunned by that.

Most emotional was yes, Wallace's death AND the entire scene of Kima's shooting. Incredible footage and in my opinion the most emotional scene for the cast!

reply

Can't believe that nobody's mentioned Snoop buying a nail gun.

Amusing: I always found Bunk's reaction to McNulty choking the dead homeless person to be hilarious.

Disturbing: One scene that always stuck with me for some reason was the random kid that Chris and Snoop killed early in season 4 who was vomiting before they killed him. In fact, season 4 was really disturbing but that one scene always hit me hard. Just being in that situation with no hope of surviving.
