Painful to watch. He must've went back and took more classes before GOT. Although even on that I think he's weak.

I find threads like these funny. I've seen just as many people say he's better on here than GOT and vice versa.

I'm just rewatching the wire and I can't not see it. I think he's awful. Mind you in GOT his accent is all over the place too. I feel like it being some years later he would hone the craft a bit. I did see him on some Hammer horror movie that I thought he was ok in.

called Love/Hate. He plays an Irish Mobster, it is on for 5 seasons, but I think he is only in 2 or 3 of them. Definitely worth watching if you get the chance.

Just to clarify I think he's great in both. I can't stand either of the characters but I think he does a wonderful job portraying both of them.

He was horrible as an actor. Looked like he was reading cue cards every scene he was in. and then he couldn't even do that all that well.

I thought he was very good for the most part, although his accent could be a little distracting at times.

Everytime I was watching him, I thought: "This guy, in real life, would never be elected. He has zero charisma".

I liked his acting here. He was a very different character to Littlefinger. This showed me he had range.

In the Wire he played a complex character who wanted to do the right thing and was brought down by his own flaws.
