Ozzy Translator on the dvds

Has anybody else noticed that a lot of words are incorrect on the Ozzy Translator feature on the dvds?

I imagine I might notice it a lot because I'm English and some of the stuff they get wrong are possibly not expressions used much in America, but it does happen quite often throughout each dvd.

Yeah I noticed this too!
In the 1st series, the episode where Ozzy is explaining about Kelly wobblers, on the subtitles Ozzy says something like "What causes her to storm out, it's Kelly" but on the Ozzy translator it says "What causes her sore mouth, it's Kelly" I always thought it was the 1st one until I put the Ozzy translator on and got all confused lol. So you're not alone on that one! I think americans just find it hard to understand his Birmingham accent sometimes, I even find it hard and I'm british!

Not to mention they're in that obnoxious red font, and include all those absurd little graphics. As if you need both translation and interpretation.

"First you ask if you can be red, knowing that I'm always red."

reply

How do you know the words are incorrect because he is nearly completely incomprehensible? He may be the Prince of Darkness but he is definatly only the King of obscenities. The translators should have gotten a bonus for every word they got right.

reply

But considering they had Ozzy as a reference, they should get everything right. Personally, I don't bother with the bonus features on these dvds.

I only rarely care about commentaries, it has to be something I'm absolutely obsessed with.
