Not Real?

I finally bought Season 1, 2, and 2 and half. Watched them all, yay, but in the end of 2 1/2, I was really shocked to find out that Jack killed Minnie and cried when Ozzy was shaking and then told Sharon.

Then the man said CUT! Minnie didn't get killed, everything was scripted and in the credits, there was this episode where Ozzy says "I love you all but you're all beeping crazy" was rehearsed.

So...I thought it was a reality show?! :(

and I'm mad that they fooled us with the death of Minnie, or did she really die to avoid PETA and/or lawsuits? Like replaced with a new dog that looks like Minnie.

I mean it's cruel to play with people's feelings of Minnie's death...

This show is not scripted. It's the ONLY celebrity reality show to not be scripted. HOWEVER, they did script part of the finale to make fun of the critics that say the show is scripted. But the rest of the show is totally real. Seems surreal, huh? Thank God for subtitles. I can't understand Ozzy without closed captions. He is so brain damaged. And he was doing drugs and alcohol DURING the taping of the show. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

If there's an empty space, just fill it with a line. . even if it's from another show.

Yes, and when you think about scripted celebrity "reality" shows full of non actors you suddenly realise you are in fact just watching a really, really bad sitcom.

No reality shows are totally real. I'm sure it's not scripted but to take 30 minutes a week of people who are recorded 24/7, that isn't real. It's as real as it can get I suppose.

Spellbound - 7/10
Mary and Max - 10/10

The last episode of Season 2 and 1/2 was the only "scripted" episode, and it was specifically made as a joke.

The rest of the series was, more or less, real. (Mtv producers set-up a few things, like the dog therapist who came to visit, but 99% of the material is real footage shot with the family.) So don't worry.

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
