Why is this on Boomerang?!

I thought Boomerang was for CLASSIC long missed and sometimes obscure cartoons but now slowly but surely alot of the Cartoon Network recent garbage is seeping over. This also includes "Duck Dogers", "Dexter's Laboratory", "Baby Looney Tunes", "Tom and Jerry Kids", "Captain Planet", "Two Stupid Dogs", and both Batman and Superman series. I wish there was a way to get a responce from someone real at the website that they'd stop playing these shows on a network thats based on CLASSIC cartoon series. I dont really mind Batman and Superman since those were barely played but the rest are annoying and pointless, just like Whats New Scooby Doo, when they already play the original classic episodes.

I'm with you on this! I think "What's New Scooby-Doo" doesn't belong on Boomerang, same with "Baby Looney Tunes" and "Dexter's Laboratory." I also think WNSD is a stupid imitation of the old Scooby series, it has only 1/8th of the classic spirit of the older Scooby cartoons

I only saw a few episodes of it and all the ones I saw were revemped or recycled episodes from the original series. Plus, Casey Casem (though he'll always be Shaggy to me) is obviously too old to do Shaggy anymore and its starting to sound like it. I wish I could start a petition somewhere to ban thse shows and other more recent shows from airing on Boomerang. Soon they'll have to make yet another channel just for the classic cartoons again and it'll be a long while before its carried by any digital or cable company.

It's funny to see a thread here from 2006, and to think how things changed. I remember disliking What's New, but damn if the lame Scooby's that followed that have changed so much that really makes What's New feel like a more respectful to the old style.

If i had my way, this would be one of the few modern shows i'd put on Boomerang, but then if i had my way, HB shows in general wouldn't have been banished to Boomerang in favor of blocks and blocks of Cartoon Cartoons and an Adult Swim double dipping.

I refuse to argue on IMDB until the general populous actually uses their brains
