'The' title

The title of this movie is not "Stratosphere Girl". It's "The Stratosphere Girl".

No it's not. It's just "Stratosphere Girl", look at the credits.

With the Region 1 DVD, the opening credits say "The Stratosphere Girl". The cover art says "The Stratosphere Girl".

Maybe some R1 translation problem. Very poor on their part if so.

In any case, whatever the title, it's a great movie with an *incredibly* beautiful lead actress.

Only in America is the word 'The' present. I guess the distributors were afraid that people wouldn't understand that it is about only "one" Stratosphere Girl, and not several Stratosphere Girls. Pretty silly, but just the fact that this unusual film had an American release is pretty impressive...
