Anybody else wanted Johnathan to end up with the Bartender?

I thought Cammie was extremely judgmental.

Ugh. I didn't want the gorgeous, free spirited, "thinking outside the box" Jonathan to end up with either the bartender or the uptight, Cammie.

I disliked the bartender when she confronted Cammie at the comedy club (Cammie, who has no sense of humor, took "offense" at Jonathan's comedy routine). The bartender said Jonathan was just playing Cammie, which was a totally malicious falsehood.

All that Jonathan needed to do was get the heck outta Dodge..er.. UTAH and head for someplace where he could meet women not pressured from childhood to be "taken to the temple" and to produce as many babies as quickly as possible.

Cammie is the quintessential Dangerous Mormon woman: She demands that her man conform blindly to the church's rigid standards. Her way or the highway. Why a gorgeous hunk like Jonathan settled for brittle Cammie is beyond me. It was scary/sad to see Jonathan caught up in the myth at the end. He had become a Mormon Stepford Husband.

Run, Jonathan, run !!!
