Rage in Placid Lake was hilarious, and yes, I've seen plenty of Australian cinema over the years.
And I'm a big Coen Brothers fan, too.
I've never been a fan of Ben Lee. In fact I would say that if I made a list of my most hated celebrities he would probably be a part of that list (he just irritates me for some reason) so I was putting off seeing this film just because of him but I gave in and watched it and I love it (love, love, love it!). I will be the first to step back and admit that he did a really good job and for once he didn't irritate the crap out of me but instead I started to really love his character.

Ben Lee is so stiff !!! Yeah the role did call for deapan but it needed a Jim Carey kinda actor
imo ben lee added alot aot of character and colour to this film (that might be lost to people unfamiliar of his personality through music) and i think thats awesome that his real life persona adds character to the film. and hes so easy to be annoyed with. but who disliked "catch my disease" or rather who didnt like it at at least one listening of it, i doubt anyone can say they didnt like it at least once. and hearing 'naked' on the credits makes me want to hear more of him. hes a true artist.
