It was like watching train wreck...

I knew I should have stopped watching right after he killed the dog, but I guess I was on my masochist streak... I saw on the Wikipedia that it opened #1 at the box office, and I was like WHAT?!?. So I sat through the whole thing, adding insult to injury, and I still don't know how was this possible. Do Americans really need an empowerment of vulgarity and stupidity to feel better about themselves?
