Calling Widow by name of Linc

Near end of movie Queen L's character refers to Widow as Linc when she tells his doorman at club that he's expecting her.

Of course it's a shot out to his role in the movie 'Mod Squad' ~ but found it ironic since he actually didn't play that character. I started to assume perhaps the actor played the role in the 70's and maybe that was the actual linkage. But after review I see that some Clarence Williams III did the part.

In the scene she is actually referring to her own character, calling herself "Lene", her shortened form of Charlene. I too was confused the first time I watched this in the theaters but after watching it over the years you can hear her call herself that a few times over the course of the movie. Hope this helps :)
