Spoiler...Didn't Peter actually blow the case?


Peter went to the club with the boombox and recorded all of the things that Widow said that would implicate himself in illegal doings. Since Peter went in on his own without any court order or anything like that, wouldn't that get Widow's case thrown out? Wouldn't that also put Peter, his family, and Charlene in more danger since Widow would probably be seeking revenge?

I'm not sure about the laws in the US because I am from Australia, but down here the OP is quite correct. Any evidence gathered by means not from the court is inadmissable and cannot be used in any case against them.

Maybe it wouldn't serve as evidence to send him to jail, but it would serve to not send CHARLENE back to jail, right?
