Plot sounds like it was inspired a 1947 story by Samuel Blas.

The plot reminds me in part of a story by Samuel Blas titled Revenge. It was originally published in Collier's Weekly on January 11, 1947 and later adapted to several comic book stories such as Murder May Boomerang in the October/November 1950 issue of Crime SuspenStories, which was a bi-monthly anthology crime comic published by EC Comics, and the October 1953 issue of Witch's Tales # 21.

It became even more famous as the first episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents which aired on October 2, 1955 at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0508235. That story was remade in the later issue of Alfred Hitchcock Presents which aired on September 29, 1985 at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0508414.

Basically, the gist of the story lines are that a man comes home to find his wife has been raped, beaten and in shock. Soon afterwards, she points out her assailant to her husband, who kills the man, then a little while later, she points out another man as the rapist and it becomes obvious that she is either still deeply shock or driven crazy by the assault and her husband has apparently killed an innocent man.
