How could one say that this movie was that bad?

How could one say that this movie was that bad? There are pretty people, it has beautiful scenery, and unpredictability. The latter is not often found in many movies today. The first sexual encounter with the lovers on the roof top was sexy without nudity. The rain falling upon her face as he kissed her was quite arousing to me. What's wrong with romance? Also, how about the way he covered her eyes and then kissed them in the one scene. And how about Bissett in that sexy black dress. Garcia's butt is quite nice too. It is just a movie and is meant to arouse your sensuality and the human spirit. Lighten up people it is meant to be a fantasy and hopefully spark your libido. Make love and enjoy life.

I like your thinking...but an army of Therapists would not find enough clients to survive that way.

Are you serious? NOT predictable? This was the most predictable film I've seen in a while. And the people are NOT pretty!

Obviously you consider a good movie to be one that has an arousing sex scene and 'beautiful' actors. However, most people expect more from their films.

This movie was downright awful. The acting was bad. The story did not flow well at all. And, all I got was one lousy boob shot, lame...

reply

Oh god. This was one of the stupidest movie I ever saw. Everything was bad about this movie. IMBD rating is right on target.

I guess you like comedies or Sci-Fi !!!

Each people with his own "taste" regarding movies !

Are you an actor in order to say that the acting was bad ?!? I'm not, but i'm not a critic also. So let's let the critics to do their job and we'll do the "ranking", in a subjective way of course, because it's from OUR point of view!

Have a nice day,

Wha..?

So you're saying you have to be an actor to cirticise an actors work?

That's like saying no one is ever allowed to say a movie is bad until they've made a movie themselves. Which means there's an awful lot of people in the world who shouldn't be rating films on IMDB, so your suggestion that we just 'rank' is invalid.

If I watch a film and the 'actor' comes across as wooden and unconvincing then I will say so. I don't have to learn the craft of acting to earn that right.

reply

I for one can say this movie was bad.Garcia was so wooden in his lines delivery it was unbelievable.Overall this was just a porn movie;example,at the end they emerge from a vehicle crash that should have killed them both and all they want to too is make love? Talk about gratuitous sex scenes!!

i watched about 20 minutes of this movie tonight. the only reason i watched 20 minutes of it was because it was so bad it was unintentionally hilarious. thelove scenes were both awful and ridiculous. as one person has already commented, they had a car crash - so then they made love.

another thing was the sound editing was so bad it made the film sound as if it was dubbed, badly. the 'plot' was nonsensical, the actual dialogue laughably bad!! the cast were actually fairly good actors but the script was bloody awful. there were so many continuity errors after a while you just stopped asking, or caring

truly one of the most comicly bad films i've ever watched!

I liked this movie. Soundtrack was awsome and great shots of seaside.

I dont think acting was so bad. I've seen alot worse movies with much more score on IMDB.

Id give it a 7/10.

reply

This film bordered on a 7/10 from me initially, but it lost a bit of momentum with the plot twists. It's certainly better than most folks on this site give it credit for. 6/10 stars from me.

Well, I'm writing as I watch. It is one of those in between movies while you are doing some work. While I Won’t seek great depths, I can’t entirely deny its charm: Location, story and somewhat moody sense. Even more then surface chemistry between Scott and Kelly. But I’m truly disappointed with dilettante "creativity" where Oliver Vance (Stuart Wilson) is french kissing his daughter Kelly Vance (Alice Evans). And even after she reveals the fact she is adopted; I barely see any purpose in steering the story in that direction. No other purpose then cheap pyrotechnics of trying to make the movie too sexy for its own good. Very idiotic decision that really ruined everything for me.
