me and some of my friends rented this movie thinking, ok, yea, it'll be bad but it will be a funny bad. i've never been more wrong in my life. without exagerration i can say that this is (2nd only to dumb and dumberer) the
WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN!!!

no offense to the costume designer who posted before, but what were you guys thinking?? chris parnell and that other drew carey guy just did not mesh well and could not carry this film. not to mention a very poorly written script and good premise which just didnt have enough good jokes. the only thing that kept me and my friends watching was the appearance of croaker, that loud mouthed guy who never stopped yelling. not bad. but everything else: very bad!

i honestly like diedrik bader and chris parnell but with the addition of kenny, and the fact that this movie could have been made in a day and in my basement and the area outside (the basement). i will say better luck next time guys.

I agree. How the hell did this movie get funded, made, and then worst of all...DISTRUBTED?!?!?! My god. This was so terrible.

Indeed. Total nightmare to watch. I should sue the makers for 'total waste of time'.

Yeah, it's really hard for a lot of movies to get distrubted in today's society. I hear the director had to really had to beg for people to distrub his film. Ah well, nobody said distrubution was easy.

I just saw this movie tonight and came to the IMDB because I could have sworn Tori Spelling was the actress in the movie but her name was not credited. Answer found. She was too embarrassed to let her name go on the credits. Anyways, I laughed my butt off throughout this movie! It was absolutely silly, but comedicly silly. I would tell people that it IS a stupid comedy, but a funny one. And there is nothing wrong with that. And if you don't agree with me, prepare to die in agony! LOL!
BTW, is it just me, or is there something about manequins being thrown around as stunt dummies that just strikes a hillarious cord? OK, I guess it's just me, but it's just so obviously and intentionally fake and pathetic (by pathetic I mean the pathos of being slammed to the ground in a twisted heap, not pathetic as in a poorly executed scene)that I just can't stop laughing!

I dont see how people can sit and say napolean dynamite was a good movie but not EAC? I agree that the movie was badly written and had bad acting, but thats what made the movie so awesome! You puny humans will pay for your insolence!

Of course it was bad... which is why it was good. I agree that if you liked Napoleon you should also like EAC. I think it depends on your expectations - If you go in expecting top-notch, high-cost comedy you will be disappointed. If you go in expecting a stupid movie with some very quotable lines and some bright spots you'll be happy you "wasted" your time. This movie actually cured road rage in our family. I saw it with my teenage son (I'm old) and now whenever another driver does something stupid (obviously, this happens a lot) we just look at each other and shake our fists at the guy... That'll show 'em!

Hey Ozzie,
You actually called this piece of s....t a movie, thought it was second only to dumb and dumberer, referred to it later as a film (does it qualify as that?), credited it with actually having a script (I think it was all ad-libed), said it didn't have enough good jokes (as if it might have had even one?), that the loud-mouthed guy was not too bad, and you like diedrik bader. Maybe I should have watched more, but after 7 minutes I HAD to turn it off!!!!!

i think he ment dumb and dumberer, which was the sequal. dumb and dumber was awesome whereas the new one... man.. that shouldnt have happened

Yeah, that movie sucked.
But on the other hand, Evil Alien Conquerers has to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, and I think that because "this movie could have been made in a day and in my basement and the area outside (the basement)", that just adds to how funny this movie was, and the plot was great, two aliens come to behead all of mankind in 2 days!, it's genious

i totally agree. i thought dumb and dumber (and the sequel) were frickin amazing. and as for evil alien conquerors...next time i see it, i'm gonna buy it! idiots don't like it just because its not massly publicized or mainstream comedy that you see everyday of the week.

If you went in with no expectations, it was pretty funny. During the infomercial part I laughed so hard I cried. I don't understand how people could not have seen the humor in a short chubby man thinking he was 100 feet tall, Croqur was the best part. You must have been expecting too much from a movie called Evil Alien Conquerors if you didn't find any humor in it.and with a title like that you can't even justify expectations. I enjoyed it. Too bad if anyone else didn't.

I think this movie was actually worse than The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra which is saying alot. Movies like Dumb and Dumber are silly in a funny way while this movie was silly in a stupid way. Of course I understand everyone has their own idea of what is funny and this is just my personal opinion.

I agree. Worst movie I have ever seen hands down. My friends and I enjoy renting terrible movies to enjoy how bad they are but this movie was just dead. The Darkest Knight 2 (which we rented simultaneously) was Schindler's List compared to EAC. The problem is the movie is beyond bad, it's just unbearable. It's not good enough to enjoy, or bad in a way that makes it fun to mock.

Woo hoo! People agree! Like I said in another thread, I honestly didn't want to watch it but I'm a huge Chris Parnell fan so I did. I was expecting to be bored of my ass, but I loved it! Hell, I'm about to watch it again. It was great. Hilarious. It obviously wasn't something amazing but it was great for laughs.

And Napolean Dynamite? I heard it was really good so I went to see it. That was by far the worst movie I have EVER SEEN. There was only ONE thing I laughed at, and it wasn't even a good line. I was really expecting to laugh my ass off, instead I was bored as *beep* I don't know why everyone likes it. I guess it's the "cool thing to do" for the young ones. Oh, and if it's supposed to be a movie made by poor kids that just invented it themselves, then why the *beep* is Haylie Duff in it? Obviously a lie.

I LOVE this movie! The type of humor isn't for everyone, just like Seinfeld or South Park, but that doesn't make it bad.

Everyone I've showed it too has loved it too and I mean people of different educational backgrounds.

On the other hand... I wanted Napolean Dynamite to die in agony. What a dull movie that was.
