Should Eric have apeared?

They were cousins after all, and it probably would have helped the ratings.

I've never watched the show but I saw that in the trivia here on IMDB. Is that ever mentioned in the actual show? If it is in what episode?

It would have been interesting to see though if he had appeared on the show as a guest from time to time.

80's show took place 5 years later. It would have been difficult since it would have essentially forced 70's show to include it as a future plot point.

There was an episode of 70's show where they flashed forward to the 80's, surprised they didnt have glen howarton on

They could have made any of the characters from That 70's Show appear older in an episode of That 80's Sho.

hey man, i saw a tv show that had the flinstones and the jetsons on in the same episode... it could have worked..

reply

Yeah but I think the Flintstones/Jetsons crossover was via a time machine or time warp or something like that

Channel Six News, they'll finger anything with a pulse!

They needed to show Eric etc in college/working trying to figure out the 1980s. That would have been funnier. Have some of these kids as Eric's students in America--he is back from Africa now and is a teacher.

Hyde looses his store in the economic crash of the 1980s and has to figure out what to do now. Being poor in the age of yuppies is hard man.
