Questions about the opening scene (*minor spoilers*)

I love this movie, and I know this opening scene is just a silly introduction to the rest of this movie and not that important, but still, some things about it have bugged me for awhile and I wonder if anyone can help out:
1. Are we really supposed to feel sorry for the kid? He is really, REALLY stupid for taking so long to kiss the girl. If that had been me I would have grabbed her and kissed her immediately with passion to let her know how much I liked her. I personally think he deserved to get pantsed for taking so long to kiss her, and for even thinking he had the right to kiss a girl so lovely and out of his league. Also he looks REALLY cocky just before he leans in to kiss her, so surely he deserved to be taken down a peg or two?
2. Why does he take SO long to pull his shorts & undies up after getting pantsed? Does he really think everyone wants to see his tiny d**k and gross stinky butt cheeks? He just stands there for ages with a dumb look on his face. Is the kid mentally retarded or something?!?
3. Did he have a b*ner? Everyone laughs at how small it is but surely any normal straight boy leaning in to kiss a beautiful girl would get hard? Even tiny penises probably don't look "tiny" when erect. Also he's holding his exercise book over his crotch at the end after he's pulled up his shorts & undies...isn't that to hide his b*ner? Or is the joke that it's SO small that it looks tiny even when erect?
4. Am I the only one who feels more sorry for Arnie Shankman (the guy who pantses him)? The poor guy's little sister has lost her mind, and Arnie probably just pantses/wedgies people to help him feel better and lift his spirits, and probably to try and put a smile on his sister's face. Yet Buznik is whining and looking all horrified and sad just cos a bunch of people saw his junk and cos he didn't get to kiss a gorgeous girl who he had no chance with anyway!
5. Why is he wearing such tiny ridiculous shorts anyway? They are practically inviting and BEGGING a pantsing!!!
