Honest question, do people EVEN watch this show?

I tuned in the other day and it seemed like he even lost his set and audience. All he does it drive around and interview people.
This led me to believe that NBC thought they were spending too much on him and on a set. I wouldn't be surprised if he pays for gas himself
So who watches this show and why?

Ok, so I first saw this show a few months ago because I left the tv on after Jimmy Fallon, and I don't see why people hate it so much? I don't give a rat's ass about Daly, but they actually have some pretty cool bands on the show, bands that you'd normally never see on tv (kinda reminds me of 120 Minutes from the 90s - ok, a faint shadow of 120 Minutes). At least there is at least one channel out there which actually has real music for a change.

This.

OK, so this show isn't the crown jewel of late night. But it's decent. I've seen stories on the show that I would never see anywhere else, such as exposure to off the beaten path movies, graphic novels, TV shows, comedians, bands, and more.

Also, the live music is always great. I record each episode to save the live music.

Carson may not be my favorite celebrity in the world, but I think it's better than the show Costas had and I doubt whatever replaces this will be anywhere near as great in giving exposure to such cool bands and artists and musicians.
