Wish they would

God I wish they would release these on DVD. I loved the opening song too.

You and me both. From what I've heard, Disney bought up the rights to Saban's library(which includes this, as well as old shows like Kidd Video, Around the World in 80 Dreams, Saban's Little Mermaid and Saban's Gulliver's Travels). It would be up to Disney to release these on DVD, which sadly, might not happen.

i know tell me about it. loved this series. i live in the UK and fortunately I was able to collect a few episodes on DVDs because they were released as promotional DVDs with the Daily Mirror newspaper. I also got my hands on the official DVD from Maximum Entertainment which had 5 episodes on it. but yea I know I would pay so much money for a complete box set.

What episodes were on the DVD given away with the Daily Mirror??

Snow White, Bluebeard (which was actually banned in the US, so is definitely the rarest in the collection!!), The Frog Prince, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood, The Golden Goose, Hansel and Gretel. They also released episodes from other old series including My Favorite Fairy Tales and The Adventures of the Little Mermaid. A few of the promo DVDs are still about on eBay.co.uk last time I looked.

It's funny actually, we buy the Daily Mirror every Saturday and the week they started the promotion it was the double DVD of Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. I wasn't interested in the DVD at the time but my mum told me to watch it to see if it would be any good for my younger cousin. I put it on and as soon as I saw the "Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics" title card I nearly took a hernia and yelled at my mum, "I'M KEEPING THIS!!!!!!!" lol. Couldn't believe how good my fortune was at these episodes being released. Collected all the GFTC ones over the following fortnight!!

That is so Cool! I thought the Daily Mirror DVD would just contain the 5 episodes from the Fox Kids DVD (which I watch over and over).

I am still hoping that the complete series will be released on DVD - this is such an amazing series.

I watched Bluebeard on YouTube and thought it was beautifully done!

well, Saban has bought back Power Rangers and maybe some of these old shows too - who knows!! so hopefully it will happen now - much more likely with Saban than with Disney

Just received my DVDs in the mail after buying off ebay!

I bought Bluebeard, Snow White and Rapunzel (for 50p each) and had them posted to me in Australia.

Love this series :-)
