I've seen a man die weasel fighting.

When you're fighting a weasel, he's bigger than a man.

My favorite part was taking out the dvd.

R.I.P. Uncle Steve

Funniest part:

He pulls his arm toward the inflated turd with paper plate teeth so it can eat it.

What do you all think Speilberg or any great film directors 1st trial run movie was?????????????? HOW DARE YOU ALL JUDGE!!!!!!!! BESIDES FRED BORGES WAS BRILLIANT IN HIS PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!! FRED R.I.P

reply

The DVD I had showed his high-school films--all of which have the exact same plot (using different animals) but the same structure and total inability to direct dialog.

If you make a movie this amateurishly, you can't hide behind "It's my first movie" if you ask people to pay to see it.

Nobody was "brilliant" in their performance. None of them were even adequate, and much of that is the director's fault.

To be fair, the director was basically still a child when he made these movies. He later made a movie called Vermilion Eyes which is even more obscure, but considered by most of those who have seen it to be a fantastic art-house film. He's also made some short films recently which are far more polished than any of his previous work.

On the other hand, it's a bit silly to compare Nathan Schiff to Stephen Spielberg. And Fred Borges was okay in his role - a lot better than most of the other "actors" - but he was far from BRILLIANT. Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now, Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man, Laurence Olivier as Hamlet - these are performances that deserve to be labelled "brilliant". Borges was just the best actor in a film where pretty much no one else could act. His performance was nicely done and certainly a lot of fun, though. Sorry to hear he died - I'm sure the character of Dr. Sendam has put many a smile on the faces of horror fans over the years, so that can be considered a good legacy. Pity he didn't do more movies, he did have potential.

This film was a real tacky hoot and a half. That ending with the shark was simply hilarious!

I remember this being part of a double bill at the drive in one Saturday night so I went with a couple of friends. God this movie was bad. As the OP stated the "weasel" looked like a over sized turd with teeth. I don't even remember the second movie that was shown. Couldn't have been any better than this one.
