There's a movie called "Fat Girl" with Roxane Mesquida with a sex scene almost identical to the one in this movie. Was this deliberate?

Oh well, it's better that those three Jennifer Connelly movies that end with her walking alone on a pier.

I think it's safe to say it is, as it's by the same director.

The ending of Fat Girl is most unexpected and shocking. WOW!

Yeah, the sex scene in this movie was almost identical to the one in "fat girl", even with the same actress...

I haven't seen Fat Girl yet, but that might shed some light on this film. In other posts there it's taken as a given that the final scene was anal sex rather than just vaginal sex from behind. Is that the way it was in Fat Girl?

Yep! It's been a long time since I saw it, but I do remember that being the case in Fat Girl.

Thanks. I did finally see Fat Girl, and it was more obvious in Fat Girl than in Sex Is Comedy.
