Anyone having trouble with the version 1.3 patch?

Ever since I downloaded the v. 1.3 patch I haven't been able to start a game in private mode (I know, I'm a wimp). After it finished loading it goes into window mode, pops up a second window and closes. Anyone else having this problem?
