I put Quake 4 into the 360 and this message popped up. It said "To play this disc, put it into an X-box 360 Console." The implications of this statement are beyond idiotic. Can anyone figure out why they did this?

Try the PC version is better more stable, The 360 version has a lot flaws and runs poorly.

The only way for that sentence to appear is to have a disc within an X-box 360, but the message is telling you to put the disc into an X-box 360, but it's already in a 360....maybe it was a joke.

Well the only thing I can think of is if the 360 tried to boot Quake 4 with the original Xbox emulator. I remember there being some backwards compatibility issues when the 360 first came out and quake 4 was a launch title so… probably just a bug in the system.

yeah I play quake 4 on my laptop and it runs great I have no problems with it at all. I have a really nice gaming dell Laptop. Use desktop for bussiness apps and laptop for games. hehe
