The Origin of Strogg

New Strogg are made by cutting up and adding mechanical parts to humans, so that means the Strogg must be of human origin and are not aliens. Can anyone prove me wrong?

The Strogg's origins are alien. There are various life forms to be seen in the Strogg fighting force, and not just humans.
I think the Strogg attack earth as a jump-point that would allow them to launch attacks onto other planets or something like that.
