What city does this movie take place in?

I couldn't figure out which city this movie was filmed in. Does anyone know? Pretty good movie, I thought. I especially liked the five steps for redemption monologue, the scenes between billy bob thornton and morgan freeman, and how holly hunter doesnt talk out of the side of her mouth so much this time. I thought kirsten dunst's banter with the basketball kids was kind of cheesy though.
