GB Help

For my Game Boy Game, i can't seem to beat the three rats in order to get the Cicre card out of that cloaked guys vault. I've tried all my spells, and i have managed to kill the big rat a few times, but after that one of the two small rats knocks me out. How do i kill these darn rats withouth getting KO?
