Does Conan O'Brien wear makeup under his eyes?

In the scene where the Johns are talking to Conan O'Brien, he seems to have very bright white makeup under his eyes. Maybe this is something necessary to make them look normal on TV or something. Odd...

I've heard him make jokes right on his show about how they have to slather him with makeup to make his pale complection show up well on camera. He says things like they have a big bucket of makeup and a brush ready to go moments before he walks out or he'll curl up his sleeves and show the pale skin on his arms. So what you asked wouldn't surprise me a bit. Pretty much everyone needs to wear a little makeup in studio television or else the bright lights can reflect off their skin or weird stuff like that. Different cameras and lights make people look entirely different.

Yeah, Conan wears make-up. If you watch the show, his skin looks "normal" but when they have a segment that's pre-recorded and takes place outside the studio, you can see all his freckles.

The map sez we're f--ked!

I'm a big Conan fan, but he's not at all telegenic.
As in, you want to stay 50 feet away from him.
I'm a pasty white guy too, doesn't mean I want to wear makeup.
Conan would have been right at home hosting the old What's My Line.
