How high would you recomend this show.

I just started this topic to ask around and get your overall opinions of this show. I am a fan of Final Fantasy. Maybe not the biggest or most psychotic of the bunch but I own all the games except for 2, 3 and the side games, except tactics, I have that one. Anyway I was interested in buying this collection for my Anime Library. Here is my current list.

Tenchi Muyo: All the individual series and all the movies.
Dragon Ball: All except the new saiyan and namek sagas on cartoon network, the lost episodes and the last few volumes that close out GT, I just bought the Super Android 17 saga.
Gunsmith Cats:
Blue Sub 6:
Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040: and AD Police.
Evangelion: All the volumes and the two movies.
Outlaw Star:
The Big O: Sea 1 on DVD and I recorded the cartoon network version of 2
Cowboy Bebop: the series and the movie.
Oh My Goddess: The series the Mini goddess series and the movie.
El Hazard: All versions
Nadesico: The series and the movie
Slayers: all three American TV series, The motion picture, premium,
book of spells, and return.
Gasaraki:
Airbats:
Blue Gender:
FLCL:
Inuyasha: Just bought the first eight volumes.
And Fred Perry's Gold Digger Series.

Now I was looking for an honest review of this series so I checked over
at Anime Jump and they usually do fair reviews. Now they gave
FF Unlimited a half star, it is one of the worst ranked anime's on their site
they said it was horribly done and not very well made. But then
I look down the site and they gave Blue Gender a 4 and a half star rating
on a scale of 1 to 5.

I need you opinions on this because of the series above that I own I consider
Blue Gender my least favorite anime (except for maybe some of the DB movies, and some of the original Dragon Ball series and some of the Slayer movies. It didn't really appeal to me I was never much for the Mecha Series. Ya can't please everyone I guess. Since FF got such a high rating here Im a little torn between buying it or concintrating on completing my Inuyasha collection.

So If you could give me an overall opinion on what you think I would appreciate
it, I only have so much time to watch a series.

PS: What is your opinion on Anime Jumps review board.

I personally Loved IT i bought the whole series off ebay for $35AU .. I Think its cool.. not a better FF TV/Movie out there.. Spirits Within Lacked FF plot and Crystals was not so great.. 4/5

That is untill advent children in september...

I perosnally really like this series. I didn't get hooked until around episodes 6-10 . But after that I got really into it. Some of the charcaters get annoying but usually they don't last . Main reason I kept watching was Kaze . He seemed most interesting. Yeah but thing to tend to repeat themselves . I loved how when they beat a enemy it plays the music from FF9 lol . But if you have a open mind and stay patient with the series you'll like out . But you will probally HATE the ending . I sure did x.x .

Here is my opinion of the Slayers series.

Slayers TV series 1: The amimation is kinda dated for my taste. It has a
late 80s early 90s look but the story is pretty good.

Slayers Next: The second tv series. My personal favorite, has the best
story and I think it's the funniest.

Slayers Try: Third tv series. Pretty funny but the story isn't as good
as Next in my book.

As for the movies: I only like Return since it had the characters from
the TV series. All the other movies had too much comedy and not enough
story for me.

I think I will stick with Inuyasha for now. I don't want to get
sidtracked with another anime series.

my advise is to save the money and use it to buy final fantasy: advent children.
i promise you will enjoy it. for me, it's one of the most amazing animations ever made, beautiful artwork, great storyline (for fans of the video game only) and lots of amazingly animated action scenes.

I would Say about 8-10. I also bought it off Ebay and thought the ending left you hanging. It may have been repetetive but it keeps you entertained wondering what will happen next. I hope there will be a sequal, or just another revision episode like summing up what happened after.

The episodes are hit and miss. I found the first and last discs to be interesting, with the middle three discs not really serving a purpose. The last two episodes were better than the entire series. Some animation sequences are cheesy and overused (everything with the Magun, when Lisa uses kigen arts) but it doesn't really start getting annoying until disc four.

Basically, if you love Final Fantasy and can find FFU really cheap, I'd recommend it. I wouldn't recommend spending more than twenty bucks on it.

It was original, nothing overly special, Kinda neat for FF fans to say "OMG CACTAUR!" or something to that extent. worth seeing, but dont expect art.

So far I've only seen the first four episodes, but for me that was enough. If you're a fan of the games, it's worth a look. The storyline is pretty good and the animation is well done. I don't know what people are complaining about voice acting for. I thought the acting was good. Kaze is definitely one of the coolest characters I've ever seen and I personally never get tired of watching the Magun animations. If you can find it, I say get it. But maybe you should finish your Inuyasha collection first. That show is great also. Overall score for me: 7.5/10

I'm going to hell when I die, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy myself in the meantime!

if you are talking about advent children then you are wrong. my friend who hates final fantasy watched it and loved it.
