Yep..what a laughable movie. Really..is it that serious? I don't know any school drumlines who have had that kind of idiotic rivalry, taking it so far as to fight during a 'drum off'.
Furthermore..DCI kills any college marching band. This movie is not what marching band is about..go see any world class DCI competition & you will see.
There are different types of marching band as stated in other threads. useless thread is useless.
shareim gonna assume DCI is up north or whatever, but in the south yes, marching band is taken seriously, just like high school football is taken seriously in the south as well.. and yes that includes rivalries as well just like in football which ALSO has rivalries!

There is a whole world at there and a lot of people with different likes and dislikes. I grew up listening to DCI type bands you know the type that makes you leave the stands at half time.
My college years were at a school like this and we loved. So you opinion is not needed.
