Please explain Kid Kung-Fu

Assuming you watch the movies...what is the kids deal? Never have I watched a movie and seen something so random...so unpredictable...not even random cameos in wrestling and movies could have prepared me!

What is the deal...with the scene where little man does the bruce lee crap and then bites down on the guys hand? lol

The "pancakes" scene was made up during filming after the director saw Matthew Helms practicing tae kwon do during a break. He discovered that Helms was a real-life black belt, so he decided to add the scene to give a chance for Helms to show what he could do.

Sooo the reason the scene was random was because he wanted to add something random?...That's...just...stupid...

One of the best parts of the whole movie

It was a possible homage to Pieces which featured a similar non sequitur scene of a Bruce Lee lookalike coming out of nowhere. Eli Roth has claimed he is a fan of that movie (and who wouldn't be :P).
