My DVD was Defective - too dark

Even though I have a good VHS dupe of this film, I purchased the DVD becuase Julie Du Page is unbelievably sexy and totally over shadows the former Baywatch beauty Erika Eleniak. No contest.

However, I noticed everything was way too dark, so I went back to my VHS copy. I matched up the timing and flipped back and forth between VHS & DVD and there was a very noticeable lighting problem with my DVD. Like the difference between a 60 and 100 watt light bulb.

I don't know if the problem is isolated or not, but it is a showstopper. I have never seen anything like it. Put the blame on Screen Media Films.

Wait a minute, I am looking at the DVD and I am seeing some references to Canadian distribution (in tiny print). I may have a Canadian region DVD, but there is no way of telling.

Canada is the same region as the US (Region 1), and uses the same broadcast standard (NTSC).
