This rating is blasphemy

With a white cast, it would be a 7 at least.

I think it may just be as all the Tyler Perry movies (although to be fair, I think this is honestly a good movie and Perry's movies are mediocre at best). If it doesn't connect with a certain audience, the ratings suffer. I'm white but I love black comedians and black comedies like this one. I gave it 8/10.

This is one of my favorite movies. However, it failed to reach a huge audience, older folks who like me, who like sappy movies. I did not see the theatrical release, I saw the "Clean Films" version. Clean Films was a company that edited every movie to remove nudity, foul language etc.. and make every movie about a PG. If they had released the cleaned up version of this movie, it would have been huge. In a way, this movie is similar to "It's a Wonderful Life". A guy thinks his life is a failure, and in one day realizes how important he is to his community. Unfortunately, all the profanity kept this movie away from a lot of people who I think would have loved it.
