Wooden, uninspiring Chandeep Uppal?

In the first review of the film on this website, the reviewer says that Chandeep Uppal comes across as wooden. I totally disagree, and she gives the impression of being a charming, adorable, Indo-British girl!

The reviewer is probably expecting the girl to behave like a 12-14 year old American movie character- sassy, ultra-talkative, very rebellious, extremely independent minded. Well, remember that this is the portrayal of an ethnic Indian girl, who is also a minority. The way the girl behaves is quite realistic, yet also independent and even a little rebellious, by the standards of that typical cultural setting.

Being highly photogenic with lovely features, she really steals every scene she's in.
