i saw this movie at a film festival in sac (california) in late 2002 i think, it was pretty good, did anyone else see it there?
shareI have not seen this movie, but I want to see it. Anyone have any info on when it will be available on DVD/VHS? I cannot find anything on it. Video stores I've checked in haven't even heard of it.
shareAs I understand it, the movie will change title from Anacardium to Deranged and believe it or not it's STILL looking for a distributer!!!! Obsured!!! It may be released in a 2 DVD package from Cahoots Productions. Wouldn't count on a theatrical release. Don't understand why either. Some discrimination against indie's I suspect.

Ahhhh... So that’s why I couldn’t find it for almost a year, the name change. Well I finely found it and bought it a couple of months ago (http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2671594). Frankly I think Anacardium is a better title, to me it sounds more intriguing. A must see for anyone following Ruccolo, Hughes or Thomas. Interesting script, great acting, but you’ll never see this in a theater. For some reason they converted it to 4:3 on the DVD (cheaper to do?) and the sound needs work. Rent it if you must, or just buy it and pass it around. This should be seen by more people.
