Wouldn't May's 'friend' rot?
Didn't it accure to May that when she's finished making her 'friend' that itl eventually rot? Because it is made up of dead body parts..
shareI think the very last shot makes it clear we are seeing events from the perspective of May's disturbed mental state and she had long abandoned rational thought. Perhaps after seeing Jeepers Creepers, released a year earlier, she took the concept of necromantic needlework rather too seriously.
shareI agree. By the time she'd fully assembled her 'friend', her mind was completely gone. Whatever semblance of sanity she'd had was already history.
This would explain why she doesn't become sickened by the smell of the decaying body parts....because we see May earlier on spray her dead cat with Lysol.
Yet later, she never even seems to notice.
