Why didn't the children's hair grow back?

I think there was enough time between when their heads were shaved and the murders for their hair to have grown a little.

Thanks for your reply. If you feel like it, I'd like to hear more about mass Russian pop culture as it pertains to the Romanovs.

Thanks. I remember reading that Grand Duchess Maria was friendly with the guards and her mother and oldest sister treated her coldly because of it.

I guess the Soviet government kept people from knowing almost everything about the Romanov massacres for a very long time. It's kind of ironic that the locals know the least about what really happened.

It's hard to believe that one of the most powerful people on the planet could just disappear like that and no one really cared.

I need to correct you, the hair styles of OTMA in N&A during the execution scene were based on the formal photographs of 1913/14.

The correct length the girls hair would have been below their ears or to the nape of their necks.
