when the killer's revealed (spoilers)

Hey there. I thought this film was quite funny and I enjoyed it. It's a lighthearted film, so for me, when you see the killer at the end with the dead bodies, did anyone else find it genuinely creepy or depressing when the Postman sings his "postman song" in the style of the Village People? I think it's mainly the music that makes it creepy, but even showing the Postman's desperation and how gone he was psychologically in trying to be one of the Village People. I just thought it was funny how the rest of the film was lighthearted and funny, but then just suddenly shifts to dark and creepy. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this?
