WHY?

Why did Kellaway have to chase Beckett & co. to the subway station if his only purpose is to prevent them from exploding two nukes? He can just disarm the one in the flood control tunnel. After all, the general knows the code too. Plus, the cellphone works perfectly in that tunnel (Beckett used it), while in the subway it doesn't.

The real question is "Why was this movie made?"

A lot of this movie was just lazy writing and unbelievably bad plot twists. I'm just glad I saw it on HBO and didn't have to pay for it.

why did he want to shut off the second nuke anyway? was it just because the doctor didnt let the opinion of 2 nukes being needed known amongst the group and the president?

so then the president assumed that the second nuke was uneccesary and wanted it stopped?

WHY? Why does anybody care what happens in this movie? The 20
minutes I wasted watching this movie, I can never get back. The
only WHY that I have, is WHY DID I waste those 20 minutes!

Geez... they actually showed this crap on HBO? I get putting it on the Sci Fi channel. We don't expect much there. But HBO? I am aghast!
