Why don't the BBC ever do 'proper' Special Editions of this and others!

Same with Walking with Dinosurs. I haven't seen this for a few years now but even though it was fairly good [if not totally accurate to the book] they still if I remember left a lot of scenes from the book out. For a start a lot of scenes such as the creatures swimming about in the lake weren't included and there's a general lack of dinosaurs and other creatures like Doyle described in the book [giant turtles, the walking carpet creature, plesiosaurs, stegosaurs etc]. plus i sem to remember that there were only a few pterosaurs in the swamp whereas Doyle described hundreds of them.

Shame on you Canadian government for allowing this barbaric and cowardly baby seal cull!

I bough this on DVD, it's out there... Not sure if it is a region-1 DVD that would play nor normal DVD players sold in the States, It may be a European DVD. But if you have a code-free DVD player, it will work.
