Is Booger gay?

Everytime we see the little rother in the movie, he's always wearing his big sisters clothes and make up. Either he's really gay or just the BRATTIEST brother ever.

The truth is out there and it hurts.

You're taking this from a 10 year old dressing up in his sister's clothes. I very much doubt the character was intended to be a hidden transsexual. Now you might be, and that's fine, or you might want to be looking for someone to call a bigot or show off your knowledge, but i REALLY don't think you could get "transsexual" from that character. Is nothing innocent anymore?

I wasn't going to get involved in this, but no matter how much you think Rion is thinking "too deep" into the movie, I would have to say, for those of you who actually understand what he/she is saying, it makes a lot of sense.

Big sister is annoyed with little brother who wears her clothes and makeup.

Big sister becomes a man and experiences gender identity crisis of her own.

Big sister is changed back and thus is more tolerant towards little brother, regardless of who he is (trangendered, gay, crossdresser, etc).

I wouldn't put it past this movie to have something so "deep" as a trangendered kid, seeing as it does go along with whole premise of the film. Just because its a stupid comedy, doesn't mean it can't have its more serious moments.
And for some who've said that "he's only a little kid", well that does happen. I've seen specials about it on 20/20 and Dr. Phil (yea I watched it, so what). Its not uncommon for a little kid to know they're not in the "right body".

wow everyone is just reading wayy to much into it. He just likes to dress up in his sisters stuff! it's ment to be funny..no hidden transsexual pre-op crap lol are you serious.

I see where he's coming from as far as the theme in simplified terms (girl has trans brother and doesn't understand, sees life as gender in wrong body, understands...), without the whole "look how smart I am" drawn-out explanation.

y'all are taking the whole thing too far
there is no facts that he is transexual or pre op transgendered
nothing hinted that he would change his gender

he is at the very least, a TRANSVESTITE

He was just being a bratty brother. When I was little, my two male cousins and I would play in their mom's makeup and clothes. It's just being an annoying kid.

i don't think it's meant to mean much. i'm sure he just likes bright shiny things. kids dress up all the time with no notion of these things

I don't think there's anything wrong with wondering if he is transgender (transgender is the word for this situation because transsexual implies post-op). Gender is social behavior and is actually socially constructed rather than just a natural desire because of our genitals -- I say "our" to include all sexes. It is possible he is just a little boy playing with his sister's makeup; however, due to the fact he gets beat up, I think that implies further that he doesn't fit the social expectations of a boy his age. Also, I think the movie itself is playing with gender so it would make sense.

Because gay people always cross-dress? Dumbass.

It's unlikely. You're equating cross-dressing with homosexuality when in reality it's usually heterosexual men who like to wear women's clothing, including their underwear. Yes, straight men are far FAR more often cross-dressers.

The vast majority of gay men wear - and this may be shocking to you - men's clothing.

Another shocker? Gay men don't want to be women, nor do they want to look like women. They're simply men who are attracted to other men. You don't have to be a woman to be attracted to a man.

I don't think his experimentation justifies calling him bratty (unless he ruins the items he uses, which would be rude.) He's a kid who is curious. He wants to play dress-up and experiment with clothing and makeup. Does that mean he's gay? As I said, it's extremely unlikely. Is he transgendered? Possibly, but this movie doesn't delve into that so there's no way to know for sure. I like to think he is, and his sister's time being "trapped in an outside that doesn't match her inside" helps her understand him more and accept him for who he is rather than who she (and everyone else) thinks he should be.

You'd do well to realize that some stereotypes are just plain wrong, and whether they're right or wrong believing in them effectively makes decisions for you about people before you get to know them, and that's a shame.
