never saw or played Wing Commander - a little past my time, but making a movie out of Galaga is a horrible idea.

It's a game of skill and concentration. The only plot is you kill everything that comes on the screen and avoid being killed. Eventually you will die - unless the game crashes and that's even a worse ending than being killed.
